Abstract. International cooperation of scientific, cultural
and educational institutions is one of the activities which have
a significant influence on the quality of their existence. A brief
history of international activities development after 1989 is
reviewed in the contribution. As an example international educational
and research projects with UTC Zilina participation are described.
