School on
Neural Networks Application
to Signal Processing
Kule near Czestochowa, Poland
14-18 October 1997
Supported by: BENEFIT Concerted Action for Stimulation
and Support of East-West Collaboration in the Areas of Microelectronics
and Signal Processing
Organized by: Silesian Technical University Gliwice, Poland
in co-operation with Technical University Czestochowa, Poland
One of the events organized within the BENEFIT framework is
the Summer School on Neural Networks Application to Signal Processing.
Its aim is to exchange experience and knowledge in the area of
neural networks applied to various problems of signal processing.
The scientific programme includes invited lectures (two lectures
daily, each lecture comprising 2 x 50 minutes) and a number of
short talks given by the participants. The lectures and short
talks will be published separately. The official School language
(lectures, talks, papers) will be English. The Summer School will
be held in Kule near Czestochowa, Poland. Czestochowa is a famous
place of St.Mary Sanctuary on Jasna Gora located within a short
distance from Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice. These cities have convenient
air links with many European airports, and regular bus and train
connections with Czestochowa. The School is organized together
with the 3rd National Conference on Neural Networks which takes
place in the same location and is supported by Polish Society
of Neural Networks.
