Anatolij Melnyk, was born in village Seredyntci of Hmelnytck region of Ukraine in 1955. I`m Ukrainian.

I got high education in Computer Sciences in Lviv Polytechnical Institute in 1978. Then I studied at Post - Graduate in 1978 - 1981. I got the "Candidate of technical science" degree in 1985. The title of my dissertation was "Research and development of the pipeline operation devices for elementary functions computing in digital signal processors". In 1992 I got the degree of "Doctor of technical science". The title of my dissertation was "Data-flow graph pipeline processors for solving of the digital signal processing tasks".

The fields of my scientific interests are as follows:

1. Computer architectures.

2. Signal and image digital processing facilities.

1. Real-time data-flow processing specialized computer systems.

I have 142 scientific works, among them - 86 patents. The dates of my research experience are listed below:

• scientific collaborator of Lviv Radioengineering Research Institute (LRERI) 1982 - 1985;
• high scientific collaborator of LRERI - 1985 - 1986;
• Chief of the digital signal processing systems sector of LRERI - 1986 - 1990;
• Chief of the digital signal processing systems department of LRERI - 1990 - 1994;
• Professor of the computer department of Lviv State University "Lvivska Polytechnica" - 1994;
• Chief of the computer department of Lviv State University "Lvivska Polytechnica" - 1994.

I was the member of Coordination Council on elementary base in Ministry of Radiotechnical Industry of USSR and analogous Council in Ministry of Civil and Military Industry of Ukraine.
